3600 Student Capacity Building for Enhanced Employability and Lifelong Learning.

The concept, 3600 Student Capacity Building for Enhanced Employability and Lifelong Learning, has been the best practice of J. B. Institute of Engineering and Technology since its introduction in 2017 – 18. Since then, it has become one of the best practices. The outcomes of the practice proved very productive.


The arrival of Prof. A. Venugopal Reddy, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, JNTUH, to inaugurate Life Skills Lab.

The institute felt that, a specific lab is required for training the students in life skills and created a lab only for life skills. As per pre planned schedules, the students and concerned faculty attend the lab and focus on learning life skills by doing.

Objectives:

  • To help the students acquire employability skills.

  • To enhance employability skills to practical approach.

  • To apply technical knowledge in promoting employability skills.

  • To create interest among the students in lifelong learning.

  • To develop essential life skills. 

To create a sense of passion to achieve personal and professional goals.

Holistic Faculty Development through Intensive Teaching Workshop

The Holistic Faculty Development through Intensive Teaching Workshop is an important initiative of the JBIET and it was introduced in 2017. Its prime aim is to enhance teaching and learning abilities and skills of young faculty, particularly those who are not experienced or less experienced. The workshop focuses on exploring new and trendy topics which can support the faculty to sustain in their teaching profession and support the students to excel in their future endeavours.

Objectives:

  • To train the members of faculty on pedagogical teaching and learning.

  • To enhance employability skills to practical approach.

  • To promote outcome-based education in teaching and learning.

  • To impart the importance of using ICT tools in teaching.

  • To educate the faculty on new innovations and practices of teaching.

  • To enhance domain-based and research-based training through workshop.

  • To attain better performance in teaching.
